The S500 open two-seater sports car, Honda's first passenger production car, was initially unveiled at the 1962 Tokyo Motor Show. Following the discontinuation of its successor, the S800, Honda shifted away from producing front-engine/rear-wheel-drive sports cars. In September 1998, the sensational return of this style was marked with the introduction of the S2000. This open two-seater embodies a classic sports car aesthetic with its purposeful long nose and short deck styling. Its futuristic headlights sweep around the sides, giving the impression of being pulled back in preparation for speed.

The S2000 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter inline-4 DOHC-VTEC engine that delivers over 250hp while significantly reducing toxic exhaust emissions compared to its predecessors. The engine is positioned just behind the front wheel axle to achieve optimal 50/50 weight distribution. The vehicle boasts a robust body, excellent road handling, a four-wheel double wishbone suspension, and a newly developed 6-speed manual transmission, providing a seamless connection between car and driver.

Inside the cabin, the S2000 features bucket seats, cutting-edge digital indicators, and a distinctive red button to start the engine. Safety was also a top priority, with impact-safe design, airbags, and other modern safety features integrated into the vehicle. Created in honor of Honda's 50th anniversary, the S2000 is poised to become the benchmark for 2000cc sports cars in the 21st century.

With a scale of 1:24 and a limited re-run, the S2000 measures 173mm in length.
